March 1, 2026. This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you create an account, we collect your email address and the password you choose (stored as a secure hash). Within the app, we store the academic data you enter — subjects, attendance records, timetables, and semester profiles — solely to provide core functionality.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Your data is used exclusively to operate and improve BunkBar. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Aggregate, anonymised analytics may be used to improve app performance.

3. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

All data is stored on Supabase-hosted infrastructure with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. DATA RETENTION & DELETION

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

BunkBar uses Supabase for authentication and database services. Their privacy practices are governed by the Supabase Privacy Policy. No other third-party analytics or advertising SDKs are embedded in the app.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

BunkBar is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us immediately.
